Kim had mounting debts and struggled to cope on her own. She turned to Cabot for support and help. “Cabot helped me sort my problems.”
Her first contact with Cabot left her “relieved”. She appreciates the support she received from Cabot and felt encouraged by their help. The beginning of her journey, though, was challenging, “I was scared. I buried my head in the sand.”
With a payment plan, Kim was able to pay off her debt in two years.
She describes her initial impression of Cabot as “excellent” and says that didn't change during the two years she was a Cabot customer.
Kim has some advice for new customers, to be open with Cabot. “Don’t be scared to talk to the advisors if you can’t keep up with agreed payments. They always try to work it out.”
Kim feels prepared to deal with debt in the future because of her experience with Cabot. Her plan is simple: “Deal with it. Contact the debt team and stick to a plan.”
